All our Hearths are all individually hand made with the same care and attention that we employ when making our fireplaces.

Stone

Classic Hand Carved Stone Fireplaces are traditionally fitted with matching Stone Hearths and all our Stone Fireplaces are supplied in this way, complete with Hearth and *slips. Stone Hearths vary in size according to the individual fireplace style but are generally 2" longer than the overall width of the fireplace, and usually 14" - 17" deep.

Marble

Traditional Hand Carved White Marble Fireplaces are often fitted using Black Granite Hearths. This is because a Marble Hearth can be easily damaged with continual use from coals and logs. Some people prefer the natural effect of this wear and tear as part of their fireplace and for those people we can supply matching White Marble Hearths. For others who prefer a stronger and more durable Hearth we can supply Black Granite and these measure 60" wide x 15" deep. If you need slips for your Marble Fireplace we can supply these in sets of three pieces which are easily cut to size when fitting.
