The English Fireplace Company are proud to present our Classical Range of 'HAND CARVED' Marble and Stone Fireplaces to Private Customers, Retailers, Architects, Housebuilders and Interior Designers. We supply worldwide and have many satisfied customers throughout France, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Canada and USA as well as the UK. Most of the standard designs seen here are available from stock in our warehouse in rural Hampshire and you are welcome to visit by appointment.

We also accept commissions for bespoke pieces which can be carved using original drawings or photographs, however these will take on average 12 weeks for delivery.

Hand Carved Marble Fireplaces All our fireplaces are hand carved from the highest quality marble. The colour of the marble is similar to the traditional carrera marble as found in Italy. We are also able to match other required colours from samples and photographs supplied.
Hand Carved Stone Fireplaces The stone we use to hand carve our fireplaces is a most attractive hard sand stone. The colour lies between the traditional sandy yellow with a tinge of cement .It suits the country house perfectly being very warm to the eye. Harder than sand stone we are able to achieve precise and sharp carving definition and detail
Hearths All our stine fireplaces come with matching hearths. For the marble fireplaces we offer in addition to matching marble hearths polished black hearths which set off the marble beautifully.
Grates We offer a small range of traditional cast iron fire grates which are suitable for either natural open fires or can be supplied with elements for gas fires.
Architects, Housebuilders, Developers and Interior Designers Substantial discounts offered on all orders over 5 or more of 30% plus. We specialise in large orders and can handle consignments of up to 50 fireplaces at a time. We have spent many years sourcing the finest materials and we use only the most skilled stone masons to produce these beautiful pieces. Our extensive collection of fireplaces range from Handsome English Tudor Stone, through Regency and Georgian Marble to finely carved French Louis XV and XVI designs. All these pieces are carefully reproduced by our craftsmen from the original Architectural Drawings of the period. We always hold stock of around 150 fireplaces and delivery for standard items is 4 days to anywhere in mainland UK. Delivery charge is £75.00 + vat for a single fireplace or £90.00 + vat for two fireplaces and this includes full insurance. If you require delivery elsewhere in the world please ask for a quote and we will get back to you within 24 hours.
